Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information in connection with the Phase 1 Hoppy Trails website, advertising inquiries, advertiser relationships, Hoppy Trails Monthly communications, and related business operations.
The website provides public information and links to Stripe-hosted checkouts for approved Hoppy Trails advertising, sponsorships, and the optional digital Battle Card. Hoppy Trails does not collect full payment-card or bank-account credentials on its own website. Public user accounts and the downloadable Hoppy Trails application are not yet available.

Payment information
Hoppy Trails uses Stripe-hosted checkouts and official Stripe invoices to process payments. Hoppy Trails does not need or intend to receive full payment-card or bank-account credentials through the Hoppy Trails website or ordinary email. Stripe processes payment information under its own terms and privacy practices. Hoppy Trails may receive transaction details such as customer name, business name, billing contact, amount, currency, payment or subscription status, invoice number, payment-method type, selected package, requested issue or start date, and limited account identifiers.

When you visit the website, Hoppy Trails and its hosting, security, or technical service providers may automatically receive limited technical information, such as:
- Internet Protocol address;
- browser, device, and operating-system information;
- referring and exit pages;
- pages requested and approximate timestamps;
- error, security, and server-log information; and
- general usage or performance information.
The current site does not intentionally use behavioral advertising. If Hoppy Trails later adds analytics, cookies, pixels, newsletter tracking, targeted advertising, or similar technology, Hoppy Trails will evaluate required notices and choices and update this Policy before or when those practices begin.

Hoppy Trails does not sell personal information for money. Hoppy Trails does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If those practices change, Hoppy Trails will update its disclosures and provide legally required choices before or when the change takes effect.
Advertising materials intended for publication will be displayed publicly as authorized by the advertiser or rights holder. Hoppy Trails may also identify a paid placement or sponsored feature as advertising or sponsored content.
5. Marketing communications
You may ask Hoppy Trails to stop sending marketing emails by using the unsubscribe method in the message or by contacting hoppytrails25@gmail.com. Hoppy Trails may still send non-promotional communications concerning an existing inquiry, contract, invoice, proof, security matter, or other business relationship.
Hoppy Trails will maintain suppression records as reasonably necessary to honor opt-out requests. Marketing email practices must be reviewed before a newsletter or campaign list is activated.
6. Cookies and similar technology
The Phase 1 website may use essential technology needed for hosting, security, or reliable delivery. Hoppy Trails does not currently intend to deploy third-party behavioral-advertising cookies on the Phase 1 website. If optional analytics, advertising, or newsletter technology is added, Hoppy Trails will review whether a cookie notice, consent tool, or opt-out mechanism is required.
Browser controls may allow you to restrict cookies. Blocking essential technology can affect website functionality.
7. Retention
Hoppy Trails retains personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to manage inquiries and campaigns, preserve permissions and approvals, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud, and satisfy legal, accounting, tax, insurance, or professional requirements.
Retention periods may differ by record type. Hoppy Trails may retain limited suppression information after a marketing opt-out so the request can continue to be honored.
8. Security
Hoppy Trails uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and the size of the business. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and Hoppy Trails cannot guarantee absolute security.
Valid Hoppy Trails payment instructions are delivered through an official Hoppy Trails Stripe checkout linked from hoppytrailsapp.com, an authorized Hoppy Trails email, or an official Stripe invoice associated with hoppytrails25@gmail.com. Hoppy Trails will not request gift cards, passwords, account credentials, or verification codes as payment.

9. Your choices and privacy requests
Depending on applicable law and the nature of your relationship with Hoppy Trails, you may be able to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information, or object to certain uses. Rights are not absolute, and Hoppy Trails may need to verify the request, retain information where permitted or required, or deny a request with an explanation when applicable.
